3D Printing II: Model to Print

What is a 3D model and how can you print it? In this Lernbit we are going to explore the different kinds of community platforms that offer 3D models and software which can be used to create your own 3D model. Next we are going to analyse a couple 3D models and discuss the best 3D printing technique and the material for its application. Lastly we are going to have look at the different kind of slicers, a piece of software that is needed to translate a 3D model into a file which can be processed by a 3D printer.
